The Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar stressed the importance of human touch in medical profession. He was inaugurating the South Block of the Medical Trust hospital in Kochi.

Noting that one has to become a good human being, the Governor said that there was no good doctor or professor or good politician , but only a good human being. A good person can excel in his role- whatever be the profession - as he has commitment to those human values. He said that the medical trust hospital, established in 1973 have traversed the journey and gained the trust of the people with their commitment to human values that underlie the medical profession.
