INDEPENDENCE DAY GREETINGS

Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Hon'ble Governor of Keralam, has greeted the people on the occasion of Independence Day. In a message, he said:

"I extend my heartfelt greetings and warmest wishes to the people of Keralam and to Keralites across the globe as we celebrate the 80th Independence Day of our beloved nation.

As citizens of the world's largest democracy, it is our sacred duty to safeguard the freedom, equality and unity bequeathed to us by our founding generation, and to uphold democratic values that ensure dignity and justice for every fellow being.

This day calls upon us to bow in reverent homage to the countless patriots and freedom fighters whose courage and supreme sacrifice secured our liberty. In remembrance of their enduring legacy, let us rededicate ourselves to the vision of a Viksit Bharat — a nation marked by inclusive development, self-reliance and equal opportunity for all.

Keralam, with its proud tradition of literacy, social reform and grassroots democracy, has always been at the forefront of nation-building. Let this Independence Day inspire us to carry that spirit forward, working together in harmony and purpose towards a stronger, more prosperous India.

On this 80th Independence Day, I wish every citizen a future filled with peace, progress and prosperity."

ഗവർണറുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിന ആശംസ

ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കേരള ഗവർണർ ശ്രീ രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് ആർലേക്കർ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശംസകൾ നേർന്നു. തന്റെ സന്ദേശത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു:

"നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ 80-ാമത് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന ഈ ശുഭവേളയിൽ, കേരളത്തിലെ ജനങ്ങൾക്കും ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള മലയാളികൾക്കും എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിറഞ്ഞ ആശംസകളും മംഗളവും നേരുന്നു.

ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ജനാധിപത്യ രാജ്യത്തിലെ പൗരന്മാരെന്ന നിലയിൽ, നമ്മുടെ മുൻതലമുറ നമുക്കായി നൽകിയ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യവും സമത്വവും ഐക്യവും കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതും, ഓരോ പൗരന്റെയും അന്തസ്സും നീതിയും ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്ന ജനാധിപത്യ മൂല്യങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിക്കേണ്ടതും നമ്മുടെ പവിത്രമായ കടമയാണ്.

നമുക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം നേടിത്തരുന്നതിനായി ധീരമായി പോരാടുകയും പരമോന്നത ത്യാഗം സഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത അസംഖ്യം രാജ്യസ്നേഹികൾക്കും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമര സേനാനികൾക്കും മുന്നിൽ ആദരവോടെ പ്രണാമമർപ്പിക്കാൻ ഈ ദിനം നമ്മെ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവരുടെ അനശ്വരമായ ഓർമ്മകൾ മുൻനിർത്തി, സമഗ്ര വികസനം, സ്വാശ്രയത്വം, എല്ലാവർക്കും തുല്യാവസരം എന്നിവ ഉറപ്പുനൽകുന്ന 'വികസിത ഭാരതം' എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തിനായി നമുക്ക് പുനരർപ്പണം ചെയ്യാം.

സാക്ഷരത, സാമൂഹിക പരിഷ്കരണം, പങ്കാളിത്ത ജനാധിപത്യം എന്നിവയുടെ അഭിമാനകരമായ പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള കേരളം, രാഷ്ട്രനിർമ്മാണത്തിൽ എന്നും മുൻപന്തിയിൽ ആയിരുന്നു. കൂടുതൽ ശക്തവും സമൃദ്ധവുമായ ഭാരതത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ഒത്തൊരുമയോടും ലക്ഷ്യബോധത്തോടും കൂടെ ഒരുമിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ ഈ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനം നമ്മെ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.

ഈ 80-ാമത് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യദിനത്തിൽ, ഓരോ പൗരനും സമാധാനവും പുരോഗതിയും ഐശ്വര്യവും നിറഞ്ഞ ഭാവി ആശംസിക്കുന്നു."
