2027- ലെ സെൻസസിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ഘട്ടം ബഹു: ഗവർണർ ഫ്ലാഗ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്തു
ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട ഗവർണർ ശ്രീ. രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് അർലേക്കർ ഇന്ന് ലോക്ഭവനിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ, ഡിജിറ്റൽ പ്ലാറ്റ്ഫോം വഴി തന്റെ വിവരങ്ങൾ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് സ്വയം വിവരശേഖരണ (Self-enumeration) പ്രക്രിയ പൂർത്തിയാക്കുകയും, 2027-ലെ സെൻസസിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ഘട്ടം ഫ്ലാഗ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു.
പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്ക് 'se.census.gov.in' എന്ന പോർട്ടൽ വഴി തങ്ങളുടെ വിവരങ്ങൾ സമർപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള 'സ്വയം വിവരശേഖരണ സൗകര്യം' ലഭ്യമാണ്. വീടുകൾ സന്ദർശിച്ചുള്ള ഒന്നാം ഘട്ട ഹൗസ്ലിസ്റ്റിംഗ്, ഹൗസിംഗ് സെൻസസ് എന്നിവയിലൂടെ വീടുകളുടെ അവസ്ഥ, ലഭ്യമായ സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ, വ്യക്തിയുടെയും കുടുംബത്തിന്റെയും ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ആസ്തികൾ എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങളാണ് ശേഖരിക്കുന്നത്.
ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഭരണപരവും സ്ഥിതിവിവരക്കണക്കുകളുടേതുമായ (Administrative and statistical) പ്രക്രിയയായ 'സെൻസസ് 2027', ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണ ഡിജിറ്റൽ സെൻസസ് കൂടിയാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ 150 വർഷമായി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ജനസംഖ്യാ കണക്കെടുപ്പുകളിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന വൻതോതിലുള്ള പേപ്പർ ഷെഡ്യൂളുകളോട് വിടപറഞ്ഞാണ് ഇത്തവണ ഇത് നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്. രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഡിജിറ്റൽ സാക്ഷരതയുടെ കരുത്ത് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന സെൻസസ് 2027, ഒരു 'ആപ്പ്' അധിഷ്ഠിത സംവിധാനത്തിലൂടെയാണ് വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിക്കുന്നത്. ആയതിനാൽ ഈ പ്രക്രിയ തികച്ചും സുതാര്യവും തടസ്സമില്ലാത്തതും പൂർണ്ണമായും പേപ്പർരഹിതവുമാണ്. നൂറു ശതമാനവും ഡിജിറ്റൽ സംരംഭമായ ഈ പദ്ധതി തികച്ചും പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹൃദപരമാണ്; ഇപ്രകാരം ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഈ ഭരണ പ്രക്രിയയെ ഹരിത ഭരണനിർവഹണത്തിന്റെ (Green governance) ലോകത്തിലെ തന്നെ ഉത്തമ മാതൃകയാക്കി മാറ്റാനും സാധിക്കുന്നു.
കേരളത്തിൽ, 2027-ലെ സെൻസസിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ഘട്ടം 2026 ജൂലൈ 1 മുതൽ 30 വരെയാണ് നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. സ്വയം വിവരശേഖരണത്തിനുള്ള സൗകര്യം ഇന്നു മുതൽ (16/06/2026) 2026 ജൂൺ 30 വരെ ലഭ്യമായിരിക്കും. സ്വയം വിവരശേഖരണം യഥാസമയം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി എല്ലാവരും ഈ പ്രക്രിയയിൽ പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടെ പങ്കാളികളാകണമെന്നും, 2027-ലെ സെൻസസ് വളരെ കൃത്യതയുള്ളതും എല്ലാവരെയും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നതുമായ ഒന്നാക്കി മാറ്റി വൻ വിജയമാക്കാൻ സജീവ സംഭാവന നൽകണമെന്നും ഗവർണർ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തു.

Governor Flags off Phase I of Census 2027
The Honourable Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar flagged off the phase I of Census 2027 by completing the self enumeration process upon registering his details through the self enumeration digital platform in Lokbhavan today.
The Self Enumeration facility is open to the general public through which they can submit their details in the portal se.census.gov.in. In the Phase I of the Houselisting and Housing Census through house-to-house visit, data on housing conditions, amenities available and assets possessed by individual households are collected.
The Census 2027 marks the largest administrative and statistical exercise in the world and is India's first ever fully digital census, bidding adieu to the massive number of paper schedules that defined the previous such exercises of past 150 years of Indian enumeration. Census 2027 utilizes the strength of the country in digital literacy and uses digital mode of data collection through an App based system, rendering the entire exercise seamless, transparent, and entirely paperless. It is a 100% digital initiative and is sustainable, effectively transforming the world's largest administrative exercise into world's biggest exercise in green governance as well.
In Kerala, Phase I of Census 2027 is scheduled from July 1-30, 2026 and the facility of self enumeration is available from today 16/6/2026 to 30/6/2026. After completing self enumeration, the Governor exhorted all to whole-heartedly participate in the self enumeration process and actively contribute towards an inclusive and accurate Census 2027 to make it a grand success.
